I get to make awesome stuff all day long.
I’ve had a lot of homes here on the internet. After 4 years at a boutique agency and another 3 years of freelancing under the moniker Giant Squid Industries, I’m joining up with my good friends Shane & Peter. This new opportunity necessitates a new home on the web for my extra-curriculars. Here it is.
Nowadays I make my living as a designer and art director focusing on UX and content. In the last few years I’ve worked on some big name brands like MTV, AOL, Associated Press, Dictionary.com, ASK, Gigaom, and SAP. I’ve also worked on some tiny brands and had just as much fun like Bluecat Motors, The Happy Gnome, ReGarden, and more. Big clients and little clients offer different challenges that all need to get addressed in the same 1024×768 pixels.
On staff or freelance, I’ve worked on some amazing brands.
When not pounding pixels
I’ve got an amazing wife named Darcie who makes sure I unplug every once in a while. We’ve got 2 obnoxiously social cats named Sam and Gus, and a crazy mutt named Winnie. I love screenprinting, mostly because it’s the same brain space as my work, but you actually get your fingers dirty. I’m learning how to surf. I live and breath by the word of Raymond Chandler. I play softball. I love food. All of it.
